The Space Coast Mac User's Group (SCMUG) is a cordial club for anyone who has an Apple computer or the desire to learn more about one. We have some very knowledgeable members who can usually help you understand and resolve a problem you might be experiencing -- not that Apple users have a lot of problems when compared to unfortunate PC users.

If you have an Apple computer, you are entitled to a free one-year membership to our club. (Membership dues thereafter are $10 per year.) We meet on the third Friday of the month at the Cocoa Library -- usually in room 2, starting at 12:30pm. Our meetings usually last anywhere from forty minutes to an hour. This is a demonstration meeting We look at some of the new Mac programs or learn how to do new things with our computers. Our attending members will happily confirm that our membership fee is a bargain, when considering all that you can learn during a year.

Our membership of over 50 men and women are "people friendly," so don't feel hesitant about attending, especially if you are new and need starting help with your new computer or software program. (We prefer not make house calls. We leave that to professionals in the area. You can call Connecting Point in Melbourne for guidance about that.) Not everyone attends all our meetings as some members are seasonal members. We usually have between 20 to 30 people in attendance.

Our popular annual evening Christmas dinner is always fun, too, where we bring our wives or husbands along to join in on the festivity! Joining us is also a good way to making new friendships if you are new to the area!
